Hans Peter Arp
Prof. Dr. Hans Peter Arp has a PhD from ETH Zürich, with research interests related to environmental pollution. He has worked for the Norwegian Geotechnical Institute since 2008, and works as a professor at the Norwegian Institute of Science and Technology since 2018. He was also a member of the management board of European Chemicals Agency (ECHA), appointed by the European Parliament. He has been involved in multiple large-scale European research projects (such as ZeroPM and ARAGORN). -
Viviane André
Dr. Viviane André has a PhD in economics from the European University Institute. She has worked for the DG environment of the European Comission since 2008. Since 2024, she works in the Chemicals Safety and Sustainability Unit, where she focusses on policy instruments targeting PFAS, in particular the restriction under REACH regulation.
